Final Project

       I chose to do more of a football oriented final because its what i do in my down time most of the time and so it fits my life and what i like. I chose a Vince Lombardi quote as my inspirational quote because he was a great football coach and he always made sure his players had something to play for.

Design Process

Started by making things that showed how my life was and how it can show what i did as a child.














I then came down to 2 of my designs and made them digital and colored them. After that i added a name to it and made it resemble how my life was with a metal and old western feel.

Professional Article Review

                      This article talked about how we should follow the rules but also try and bend them so that we can make things more unique and make them seem better. The author thinks we should break the rules o make things better and more unique. It uses bold lettering to attract people to things but there is nothing to keep someone hook its very blan and hard to read. The authors conclusion is to never stop learning even if you are "Fresh out of college or have been working for 20 years". I didn't like this article because it was very hard to read and it was very boring is wish they tried to do more to keep me hooked, but it seemed that they just tried to get something out and not think how their readers would react. The author supports his main points some what but it doesn't seem enough to make enough sense. I don't understand most of it because the writing is very unclear and hard to read.

              Graphic design to me is a way to get out of my head and just let my imagination roam and not let other people tell me what to do. It lets me put my own ideas out there bad or good and fro  that i will become better. Some people might say it just a job their wrong its a way of life because the people who spend hours a day creating pictures or movies or shows make the world what it is because they keep us entertained and they get the gratitude for that. Take for example Tibor Kalman he was an amazing graphic design in the 40's and he got known as the "bad boy" of graphic design an he earned it, he did so much to make things cool and state out the obvious about things these days.

Seeing what i can do.

Not the easiest thing have done but it allowed me to understand how illustrator works more and allows me to see what i can do.

Extension to the pencil

Got the hang of it so having a little fun with it.

Brand new to it.

New to the whole Mac System, so knowing how to make stuff slowly is a good thing for me cause it allows me to see how fast i'm learning and catching up to people.
